DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN :
The Transport Network Solution Engineer is responsible for the system selection and functional designs in the TransportNetwork domain covering:
- Mobile access transmission network (e.g. FttS, Microwave, Leased Lines, etc.)
- Fixed access and backhaul (e.g. Fixed xDSL, FttH, CPE, DSLAM, BRAS, etc…);
- Core transmission network (e.g. Fiber, SDH /ATM, DWDM, Satellite technologies, etc.);
- IP network (e.g. IP Core, IP backhaul, etc…)
- Managing, planning and documenting IP Addressing (Indosat Group)
- Provide solution proposal, policy and implementation standard for the IP/MPLS based transport network.
- Provide RFP project plan based on IP technology
- Responsible and conduct POC, IOT and IP based technology assessment
- interface between Ooredoo Transport Team and Indosat Transport Planning
- budgeting and planning
- Matrix job mapping to: backbone (submarine, DWDM, POTN, optical, OSP etc.), access (microwave, GPON), and VSAT/Satellite)
PERSYARATAN :
| - M.Sc (IT/Telecoms/EE) or as a minimum B.Sc (IT/Telecoms/EE) working level; - Fluency in English is required; - Strong verbal and written communication is essential; - Strong problem analysis/solving skills; - Strong ability to convince decision makers; - Motivated, curious and inquisitive to learn new things and look further than own area; - Highly creative: be able to come up with new ideas and concepts; - A team player that has the capability and eagerness to quickly pick up new knowledge in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment; - Enthusiastic and positive; - Sense of ownership and pro-activeness.
- Has 5 year experience in IP/MPLS Network (network operation or planning)
- Has CCNP Certification
- Has good understanding of IP address management (IPv4 and IPv6)
- Has good understanding in internet, INP, IP Cloud and Content Delivery Network (CDN)
- Minimal 5 years work experience in relevant network design areas
and experience in a senior position in relevant network design areas in
the telecommunication industry;- In-depth knowledge of optical transmission systems; - In-depth knowledge of microwave systems; - In-depth knowledge of SDH, ATM, xWDM, (Carrier) Ethernet, PW, MPLS(-VPN), TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g. BGP, ISIS, OSPF, etc…), IDS/IPS, Firewalls and security concepts; - Strong experience with IP networking, in particular the Cisco, Juniper and Huawei range of equipment. Knowledge should be at least on CCNP level; for the senior role, a CCIE level is required; - Good knowledge of / experience with fixed platforms (e.g. VoIP, DSLAM, IPTV, multicasting, xDSL, DLM, Bonding, FttH, Profiling, DHCP, PPPoE, CPE, Wifi, encoding, DRM, etc…); - In-depth knowledge of transmission concepts, topologies and network architectures - Good knowledge of / experience with telecommunications principles and practices; - Good knowledge of / experience with processes and tooling involved in the planning and operation of mobile/fixednetworks; - Good knowledge of / experience with running a RFI/RFQ process and managing external suppliers. |
